Thank you Tom for the passionate reminder and awakening shout about the “value of every single human life”. Somehow our sinister and crafty Enemy manages to neutralize us, and render the love and presence of God in our lives into a weak and powerless state, thus leaving us in a sort of stupor about the value and image of God that is stamped on every single human being, inside or outside the womb.
Perhaps we struggle with properly seeing the value of those outside the womb, and loving what we can “see” properly, thus explaining why we struggle with loving those we can’t see, those still in the womb.
I’m thinking, if we could just somehow ……with the help of God learn how to love those we can see, our hearts would naturally mature and be moved to properly respond to the needs of those in the womb who are in danger of losing their lives, and the atrocity and sin of abortion would soon disappear in our nation.
